Sony laptops use 4 different types of DC jacks. The first jack has 3 legs and mounted on the motherboard and we have it in stock at all times. The second, 3rd and 4th jacks have a cable that runs from the jack to the board. Cable never goes bad, it just the jack that needs to be replaced. So we replace the jack only without the cables, it still requires desoldering and sodering a new jack in. There is no extra charge for the models listed below. .
